Melissa bought this sideboard from someone on ebay. She painted it in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old Ochre and Old White and then distressed it. Then she protected it with both clear and dark wax to give it a bit of an aged look. It looks so pretty decorated for spring!
This piece has been sold but Melissa says it was one one of her first makeovers that prompted her to start her Facebook page Rusty Blue Refashioned Furniture and share her creativity with the world. I would have loved to see the one inset with the lily design on it kept and not covered.
