Kristy scored this antique sideboard and loved the wood grain. So instead of painting it, she stained it in various colors to mimic a distressed denim look. “We stained it with a mix of blue color stains, sanded it down again, then wiped on a gray stain to finish it. We were attempting to achieve the vintage denim finish by Grandin Road” she explains.
It’s such a lovely compliment to Kristy’s mother’s stylish bedroom! Learn more about the techniques she used on this sideboard makeover at Robb Restyle.
