Rotary Phone Rast Hack

April 27, 2016 · by: Jen 8 Comments

(Before) Rotary Phone IKEA Rast Hack - by 2 Bees in a Pod

This plain IKEA Rast dresser had unlimited possibilities, and Vicki and Jenn found the perfect inspiration in a rotary phone poster.  First they painted the dresser and then decoupaged the poster onto the drawer fronts.  Finally they added new hardware and shiny bronze castors, turning this into a fabulous statement piece.  To learn more about this IKEA Rast hack, visit their blog 2 Bees in a Pod.

2 questions : how did you attach the legs on the bottom and did you modge podge the front over the poster or do something to deal the edges? We made this yesterday and it turned out so cute thank you for the inspiration!
